Some of the news outlets are saying she was singled out. It did not seem to me that she was getting any more (or any worse) than any other of the panelists. I don’t see how her performance could have been salvageable with any editing - she seemed serious about the “I’m only here to promote my new book on Trump.” Buzzkill. If it was really meant to be ironic/funny, it completely missed. I think it was Jeff’s line that summed it up greatly, something like “Wow, Ann - finally a bombing you can’t blame on Muslims.” Comedy gold. As was the “Trailer Swift” comment directed at Jewel. She did a pretty good routine, and seemed to roll with the punches pretty well. ---

I watched just her bit to see if it was as bad as the buzz. Ohmigosh, yes. This is clearly a person incredibly full of anger. I’m not sure how much of the previous barbs pumped it up or if she’s just that way all the time. She just wanted to read the stupid words she was supposed to say and plug her book.
