So, you’re asking if there’s ever been another comedy act with two (or, heck, maybe even three) stooges? 
Isn’t most comedy either a straight man in a funny world (Newhart) or a funny man in a straight world (Mork & Mindy)? Well, there’s observational comedy, where the comedian points out the unnoticed funny stuff that happens in the straight world. I guess I can imagine a team of 2 straight men doing observational stuff, pointing out hypocrisies and the like, but for quick laughs, straight man and the goofy one are the most reliable.

Many Bird and Fortune sketches have two straight men talking at cross purposes or being conspicuously wrong, rather than goofy.
Stiller and Meara did sketches and mostly switched who was going to be the set up. Or they both were straight or goofy as the sketch needed.
