Clue is one of my favorite movies. I also love Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I have it memorized. It is one of the best movies of the 1980’s and I consider it perfect “comfort” movie. ---

Any of the Harry Potters. I have yet to sit through a whole one, but they’re on TV all the time – watching in bits and pieces is like a meal of appetizers. Also _Overboard_ with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. ---

I’ve got lots of them. The top of my list, believe it or not is **The Ring**. It’s one of my favorite horror movies to begin with - probably the first to truly scare me in years - but something about the score and the blue green filtered cinematography totally chills me out. I almost never make it all the way through without falling asleep. ---

And some of those Beatles could be really funny when given the chance. Yes, Harry Potter! LOTR. Costume dramas. The Mists of Avalon and Merlin (the Sam Neill two-parter) got me through a couple of very very bad days. Musicals. What better to watch, while looking through the Sunday paper, than a gaudy Technicolor thing with Gene Kelly, Ann Miller, or even older ones with Fred and Ginger? ---

_Sense and Sensibility_ with the commentary track with Emma Thompson and producer Lindsay Doran is _so_ much fun. Something Pixar: _Cars_ or _Monsters, Inc._ or _The Incredibles_. Monty Python is always good for the silly. ---
