I’d love to see Cherry Poptart and especially Omaha The Cat Dancer as movie length cartoons, unfortunately I believe only the Japanese could really do justice to either and I doubt anyone in Japan had even heard of these characters ---

Crumb refers to it rather derisively in the movie _Crumb_–but the farther down the line it got, the more it became just another cheap porno with no real connection to the comic book. Yeah, this movie might actually have gotten made and nobody noticed because the names were changed at the last second. ---
