For John Constantine, either Paul Bettany, Ewan McGregor, or Kiefer Sutherland would have been my picks. Kiefer would’ve been the perfect compromise since the filmmakers had the overwhelming need to make JC American, but he’s actually a great actor who looks the part, and could bring menacing darkness and sleazy charm to the character. Keanu Reeves as JC is much worse casting than Halle Berry as Catwoman–and Halle was atrocious casting. (My pick for Catwoman was Gina Gershon, or perhaps Rose McGowan.) BBVL - some absolutely inspired choices - one or two I disagree with, but that’s life. I’ve got a suggestion for the Booster Gold/Blue Beetle pair that some will hate, but I think it’s the perfect fit. Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller. Eh? ---
