> I’m not familiar with all of the webcomics you listed, but most of the ones I know in the second group are not set in our universe modern day.

It’s a judgement call. Any work of fiction is depicting something other than the real world. There’s no hospital in our world named Seattle Grace but I don’t think many people feel that _Grey’s Anatomy_ is set in some alternate universe. We just accept that it’s our world with some fictional characters and elements added.

So I put the AI’s in _Questionable Content_ alongside Snoopy or Spiderman or the Addams family. Even though none of these characters could exist in the actual real world, I feel the settings they are in are a fictional version of our real world.

On a separate note, I don’t think _Pixie Trix_ is set in a world with magic. Lagace and Lumsdon essentially have two settings for their stories; _Menage a 3_, _Sandra on the Rocks_, _Sticky Dilly Buns_, and _Pixie Trix_ are set in a non-magical world while _Eerie Cuties_, _Dangerously Chloe_, and _Magick Chicks_ are set in a world that has magic. (I didn’t read _Penny and Aggie_ so I don’t know where it fits in.)

You think Gary hooking up with the women he did during the course of that strip was natural? Obviously there were Dark Forces involved somewhere. 😜
