Agreed on both counts. I, for one, can no longer afford gasoline, and am lucky that about a year ago (maybe two years?) the trolley system was extended and now I can take the Green Line to school and back. After my trolley pass kicks into effect on the first of the month, I plan to not buy gasoline for a long time. For me, it’s either buy gasoline or buy a textbook. The textbook will do me a hell of a lot more good.
