Comment from my kid: "What if we're their movie?"

Hmmm… I must be reading a pretty boring book.

Well, that’s because you’re both fringe characters in MY story. :cool:

Don’t worry…when I write the second draft, I’ll give you each two hot babes* and a condo in Hawaii, sound fair?

  • Or guys, if that’s your taste.

Hold on, I’ll check;

<flips ahead a few pages, not noticing a giant pink eraser hovering above his head…> :eek:

That is classic. Make sure and write it down to show him when he is older. I have been keeping a journal of all the weird stuff my son says like that.

Does your son watch a lot of movies, or TV?
Mine probably watches a bit too much, and I could totally see him saying that type of thing.
Then again it makes one wonder what they really KNOW??

I used to see my son look over my shoulder, at an empty space, and wave and smile quite a bit when I was feeding him. He was about 6 to 9 months old. It freaked me out. My husband said he did it to him too. We always wondered if his Grandma K’s spirit was back there. She died at age 56.

Wasn’t your son the one who came up with the Zen-like, “Nothing is a choice. And nothing is not a choice.”?

I maintain that I’m a brain in a jar hooked up to the Matrix. Shame that knowing this does absolutely fuck all…
