# Commercial with longest "shelf life"?

The “800” part of the Empire Carpet is pretty new. Is it just that WGN televises this ad all over or are there stores outside of Chicagoland?

I’d also vote for the Auto Wreckers’ ‘Door falling off on guy’ as a Chicago standard. I once heard a Kevin Matthews interview with that guy who I guess worked at Victory at the time. Utter hilarity, mostly by Kev.

Kev: “So, hows the leg? … Really?.._totally_ revovered?”

Kev: “Now when the other guy is counting money into your hand, is that real dirt under your nails or makeup dirt. Because it looked just too good…”

Kev: “Finally, the question we’ve all been wanting answered: …\<pause\>… Do you still have the watch?”  
Guy: “Yes!”
