Yes! Has anyone seen the Viberzi™ commercials? Instead of a “sentient internal organ,” the person in the commercial is pestered by a strange little redheaded woman with intestines outlined on her tan body stocking. Weird! ---

Oprah schilling for Weight Watchers. After all these years, I can’t take that woman seriously on the subject of weight loss. She’s a billionaire with a personal chef and personal trainer and still can’t manage this, but _now_ she’s got the power of Weight Watchers! Well look out world! She’s not even thin in the ads! Marie Osmond, Kirstie Allie and everyone else lost some damn weight first so they could show a before/after screenshot. Oprah’s up there in what’s essentially a designer mumu. Ironically, I have the opposite problem with “billionaire bad boy” book covers in the bookstore, as there simply ain’t _that_ many billionaires with six pack abs. ---

The damn Extra gum commercials. First off: I don’t understand what era they’re in because it looks like this high school is filled with 30 year olds straight out of the 70s. Second off the song is absolutely grating: “blah blah blah I caaaaan’t heeeeelp falllling in looooooooveee wiiiiiiittthhhh yooooouuuuuuu” Third: How freakin creepy is this guy? They have an interaction once and he draws her a picture of them on the gum wrapper? Please get this off my airwaves ---

Angel Soft toilet paper commercial with a young woman (who looks well into her teens) and apparently her single dad. He is showing her, at her advanced age, how to shave her legs, and he is shaving HIS leg as an example. Rather creepy, shouldn’t she have known how to do this at age 12? Did she go crying to daddy, ‘I’m 18 and I still can’t grasp this leg shaving deal.’ It’s not do-it-yourself brain surgery. (maybe she is a little differently-abled and needs help?) ---

The Camry commercial with the two women in the car, when the phone rings and the display shows that the caller is “Trey DON’T ANSWER”. And of course Dimbulb answers it anyway, with a mischievous little expression that I’d like to slap right off her face. What kind of person is so weak-minded that they actually need to program their device to say DON’T ANSWER and then they do it anyway? I think the message of the commercial is, “Even morons make good decisions sometimes (like buying a Camry).” Great. ---

The last time I saw this stupid ad (about 5 hours ago and for the bajillionth time) I thought “I must remember to add this to the annoying commercial thread”\> 😛 I hate everything about this fecking thing but the actress playing the main dumbass grates on me in an irrationally severe way. For one thing I always thought she was supposed to be the other dumbass’s mother so her stupid behavior was doubly bizarre. Now I think they’re supposed to be gal pals (puke) and I’m pissed at the casting director for hiring someone who is both totally unappealing and also not age appropriate. **Dung Beetle** summed up my feelings about the stupid look on her mug and I’ll just add that she holds that stupid expression whilst looking at her friend and pondering if she should answer. Keep your eyes on the road you stupid twat! ---

I don’t recall exactly what this commercial is for, but I know I’ve seen it. I took “out” in that sentence to mean “out of your pocket.” That is, in your hand or otherwise nearby, ready to use. So it’s saying, “I know you have your phone handy, so look it up.” ---
