1. The Mountain Dew commercial where various nocturnal animals are made to look like they’re singing “All Night Long.” Damn, those are some cute animals.

2. The phone commercial where the guy thinks he’s singing “Where Da Hood At?” when he’s actually singing “Karma Chameleon.”

3. It’s not a new commercial, but I’m happy to see the return of that phone commercial featuring the two office workers weirdly dancing to “Push It.”

I like Spike Jonze new GAP commercial. You can view it in pixelated Flash-format [here](http://www.ad-awards.com/inc/video.swf?id=154).

There is a rarely used but excellent Maxwell House commercial set to Our House and in a Firehouse.
[I can even link to it.](http://www.maxwellhouse.com/maxwellhouse/page?siteid=maxwellhouse-prd&locale=usen1&PagecRef=446)

Click on Play Movie by the small picture of the firehouse.
It’s call Ladder 59.

For the first time ever, I like the current crop of Old Navy commercials for that little blonde cutie with the high voice, Kristin Chenoweth, who it turns out is a major Broadway star.

Also a fan of the [Overstock.com](http://Overstock.com) commercials with their luscious spokesmodel Sabine Ehrenfeld.

“Nanananananananana, where’s da hood at…where’s the hood…where’s it aaaat?” Love that one, but it’s a total earworm for me.

I also like the one where the woman talks about deleting her ex’s name from her cell phone: “Then the phone asks me, ‘Are you sure?’ And I’m like, _oh, yeah_!” She’s adorable.

I love that one! Another one that I like but don’t think is on anymore is with the guy who thinks Sierra Mist Free is free.
Is it just me, or are commercials getting funnier? Of course, there are also a lot of commercials now that think they’re witty but are just dumb.

I like the one for Guinness where the two “Brilliant!” guys are in Green Bay so they decide to try to fit in by wearing cheeseheads. Unfortunately for them, they choose limburger.

“I smell feet.”

There is a commercial with a woman and she has twin tots in strollers and she is shopping for shoes.
Another woman comes into the store, looks at the tots and said, “aren’t they cute!”
The mother is looking at some shoes she is trying on and says, “I know! I got a pair in green too.”
I laughed. But I have no idea who the commercial was for, so I guess even though it was funny, it must not have been the most effective of ads if I can’t remember who the ad was for…

The commercial for the cold medicine tripped me out the first time I saw it. A man with a deformed face gets on a bus and his fellow passengers are clearly horrified. It really conveyed to me a sense of sadness and lonliness. Then the man takes the medicine, and his face goes to normal. It didn’t say what the commercial was for until the end. The one and only time I saw the first one, and I was quite flummoxed by the whole thing until it became clear.

Now there’s a different one on with the same premise, but you don’t see his face all that much. I wonder if they got a negative public reaction on the first one and pulled it.

I just saw that commercial now and it’s for TheraFlu thin strips. I laughed because when he goes back to normal he still “doesn’t look right” to me. LoL.

Peyton Manning’s commercials for MasterCard, in which the Colts QB cheers on ‘regular people’ as they do their jobs. My roommate and I couldn’t get enough of the first one (especially as he encourages the butcher to “CUT! THAT! MEAT!” CUT! THAT! MEAT!"), and my brother and I are ceaselessly entertained by the new ones. Every time the thing is on these days, we’re stomping along with him on the “D-CAF! ::bang bang:: D-CAF! ::bang bang::” It really should’ve gotten old by now, but for us, it just doesn’t. Eventually, I’ll probably do it ay a restaurant and get hauled away to an institution.

One of the cell phone companies has a series of ads where people try to use up all their minutes while in a big operating theatre-type area. They all suck, except for one. The one with the little pre-teen cheerleader chattering on about typical pre-teen girl stuff is hysterical.

Oh, definetily the new [Bravia commercial](http://www.bravia-advert.com/) from Sony. And they dropped 250 000 bouncy balls in San Francisco to make it. But then again, I am easily amused, and watching colourful bouncing balls can make me happy.

…it’s just so pretty to look at it makes you happy…

While I despise commercials for prescription medicine, I do like the one for the chlorestrol drug: Chlorestrol doesn’t just come from that frank, but from your Uncle Frank" yada, yada, yada.

It is a blatant and poor ripoff of the Honda car commercial showing cars and people, but I still like it.

My spouse, who watches a lot of football, amused me last week when he told me he spotted somebody in the stands at an NFL game (I think it was the Colts game, come to think of it), waving a “D-CAF” sign. 🙂

I like the series of commercials with the barbarians now relegated to more mundane tasks like parking cars etc.

Can’t remember who they’re for!

I’m an advertisers worst nightmare.

That’s really cool, I’ve never seen that one before. The song is actually pretty good, too. If they’re gonna play commercials before a movie starts in the theater, they may as well play cool ones like this.

Capitol One. Those are far superior to the David Spade “No” series of ads.

The one where the guy’s driving along taking directions from his onboard computer, and when it says “turn left,” he does – right into a diner.

Totally cracks me up every time.

I have no idea what it’s for, though.

(And I also like the unemployed barbarians one, though that one I did know what it was for.)

It’s for a credit card – maybe American Express? I hear Ellen Degeneres’s voice in my head for that one, and the one about the thrifty kid (can I buy just one Twinkie?) and the big spender kid (paying off his gym teacher) who grow up to be thrifty and spender adults.
