When you have great difficulty dragging yourself to class or work (or even getting out of bed), those close to you tend to notice. Of course, lesser degrees of depression occurring on a chronic basis are a different story, and can cause significant pain and disability also. ---

I’d also suppose that people who get to the more serious stages of externally-obvious depression tend to have rather few friends and family around who really matter. Depression triggers isolation reinforces depression reinforces isolation … ---

Man, I like E.L.F brand cosmetics. They work well and are cruelty free. I guess full disclosure: I generally don’t wear make-up, but my eyebrows went missing at some point so I use some of elf products when I want to have eyebrows. I like the commercial where the actress is trying the primer and says she has baby dolphin skin. A great commercial. BUT… the one with the huge red mouth and the fat gross tongue licking the huge red mouth? Ugh, I cannot even watch it. It is seriously gross. ---

OK, so has anyone seen this gem? Well, I couldn’t embed the video, buuttt. It’s a commercial that features singing and dancing apparently female pubic hairs. Venus has some commercials that are just a bit off putting to me anyway. I don’t want to see close ups of people’s body parts, mouths, noses, pits, crotches. Use your words Venus. The pubic hair chorus is weird and a bridge too far for me. Funny? Sort of but more creepy. ---
