The old (1990s?) commercial with the gorgeous blonde eating Cheetos and wiping her hand on the back of her hot-pants…resulting in gross orange stains on the ass everyone was ogling…convinced me to never eat Cheetos again. Does that count?
Wow – I’d forgotten about those “In the Land of Dairy Queen …” commercials from the 1980s until I read your post. I just watched some on YouTube, and they’re still highly effective. It was a great advertising campaign. Too late now to go to DQ, though.
There’s a current one where the dad turns on a blacklight and everyone is smeared with orange from sneaking Cheetos. Including the kids’ mouths. Thinking about what they are usually scanning for makes it vaguely icky.
