Dole Fruit cup commercial in which an older couple, snuggled up together on the couch, talk about their kid and grandkid moving back home and how they have to use a 'secret language so the kid doesn’t know that they are perpetually horny. “We call it ‘fruit cup’.” Cut to kid, “We have fruit cups?” Cut back to snuggled grandparents, “We _eat_ a lot of fruit cups but we don’t _have_ a lot of fruit cups.” ---

Not earth-shatteringly fantastic, just cute in a low-key way – Subaru commercial featuring a dog in a runaway canoe. I’m surprised none of the Watts were in the commercial with Bill Belichick. Yes, I know none of them plays for the Patriots, but it would have been fun seeing Belichick being a dick and cutting off their sleeves. ---

A lot of people hate the “drop the taco, get in the car” Nissan commercial with Brie Larson, but I like it a lot. At first, I wondered who the attractive brown-eyed blonde driving the Nissan was, not realizing it was Brie Larson until later. She looks really good here and it makes me laugh when whiny guys complain that the commercial is anti-male. I think it’s really funny…stop having such thin skin!
