There is a drug ad with a grandmother watching her grand-daughter ballet dance- and they include that wonderful old classic- “Dancing in the Moonlight”. However, of course the ad come sin versions, and I could swear in one they had the little girls (grade schoolers) dancing 'en point”, which kids should never do. So I like the music, but I dunno. But I could be wrong. ---

I absolutely hate how drug ads are ruining old classic ‘feel good’ songs like this by playing the song in the background while someone reads a laundry list of possible dire side effects over it. ---

A while back, I saw some commercials for Norton Antivirus featuring the Heavy Metal band Dokken. In these, Dokken represented a virus wanting to take control of your hard-drive, represented by a raw chicken. The ad had two versions. One in which you allowed Dokken to take control and one where you didn’t. In the allow version, the ad finished with a shot of Dokken chowing down on a meal of fried chicken, In the deny version, the chicken stands up wielding a switch-blade and backing Dokken off. The only version I could find on YouTube is a little different, with the allow version having the chicken spontaneously combust. The only ones I saw back in the day were the Dokken ones. ---

Regarding non-annoying Christmas commercials, I like [this one from M&Ms](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyJYnxIcjI8), featuring Santa fainting at the sight of the M&Ms. And the commercial first aired in 1996, so it’s 29 years old. ---

My favorite part of that commercial is the brother or brother-in-law. They pan to him when the dad opens the gift, and he blinks his eyes very slowly - like he’s saying “oh boy, that’s not good”.
