The Kia _(I think)_ commercial with the dancing robots and the chipmunks or moles or whatever that have gigantic loads in their pants. And this makes me want the car because… um… what? ---

Yeah, I also saw this and all I could think was “all hat and no cattle” but that doesn’t seem to fit as they weren’t really talking about competitors. ---

I’ve got another to add to the list - I think it’s for Certain Dry antiperspirant. Some blond dipstick is talking about how her doctor recommended it, and it turns out she’s talking to Dr. Joe Studly, who removes his glasses and smiles sexily… I especially love the tag line: “Cool.” Could anyone have written a stupider ad?? ---

What really irritates me, and it’s usually local auto dealerships that do it, is when they state in their commercials, “We’ll beat any competitor’s price or the car is free!” Really? I can just see a salesperson from the dealership coming out of the back room after “talking to his sales manager”, with the keys to my new car because he couldn’t come down $200 to beat the other guy’s price. This is just stupid, stupid, stupid. Stop doing it! Do your local dealerships do this? ---

A local community college with “Lake” in their name was running an ad locally. The script was something like, "Water shapes, polishes, moves, blah blah. We call that “The Lake Effect.” No. We call that “erosion.” Lake effect influences the amount of precipitation in an area. Nothing like a school flaunting their ignorance. ---
