Many times I find myself wishing that the four phone company geeks actually _would_ beat Alltel Chad with a tube sock full of wood screws. What a smug little prick! ---

It’s always near the foot baths and blood pressure machines in the stores, so I’m guessing it’s advertised as a health item. For reduction of sexual tension? I dunno. As some of my fellow Japan Dopers can attest, women who try them out in the stores are extremely happy riding them. I always feel so dirty after seeing that. But it never stops me from looking. Maybe I’ve said too much. “More cowbell!” ---

I don’t mind the commercial because it seems kind of realistic. I used to play games like that when I was a kid. ---

There are a couple of new commercials out for some fast-food chains “Orange Cream” milkshake. They each show a guy walking through a store, licking the outside of his milkshake cup because he hasn’t figured out that it’s not a Creamsicle. Disgusting. I have to change the channel the second they come on, and I have vowed to forever boycott whatever chain is running them, if I ever figure out which one it is (hard to do when you refuse to watch the commercial to the end.) ---

Some yoghurt commercials where there’s these two (or sometimes more) women sitting around talking about how good the yoghurt is. “Favorite song on the radio good!” “Drivin’ barefoot good!” “Cute best man good!” “Gettin’ out of this bridesmaid’s dress good!” The one woman (the caucasian with the short brunette hair) reminds me of someone I went to school with that everyone called “Duckface.” God, I hate those!
