Interesting idea for a thread, it looks like Communist China [doesn’t have a ship prefix](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_prefix). The official name of the Chinese navy is the wonderfully redundant [People’s Liberation Army Navy](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People's_Liberation_Army_Navy). “Republic of China” is the official name for Taiwan, so I don’t think they’d call it a “Republic of China People’s Ship.” But “People’s Republic of China Ship” is a good idea for a fictional prefix for the purposes of this thread.
