Funny, I was look up Leonard’s name and came across NBC’s Greendale website and it has a section called “Campus Connect” where the “students” have a picture, some facts, and quotes from them. Solid episode with lots of hidden little gems, but it’s often the stupid funny things that catch me off guard that I remember the most. Yea, between the candidate intros, news crawl and table scratches, this episode must have been trying for some sort of award for most hard to catch text gags. Some others: -Lenard is part of the Whig party -Pierce followed BNL for a summer, -Starburns real name is Alex -Chicken Finger Shortage Continues -Professor Slater still missing -“No paintball this spring” -Reports Continue of “mysterious airvent monster” ---

I didn’t catch everything on the crawl, but one nice one was “Professor Slater still missing.” Another asked “Human Being mascot – insensitive to animals?” (Those are paraphrases from memory, probably not the exact words.) ETA: D’oh, I see I was simulposting the Slater one with Simplicio. ---

Awesome episode. I like how Garret was in line for ice cream AND he is allergic to dairy. I really loved Abed’s romantic subplot. And, his successful attempt to bring her back was hilarious. ---
