The same break that happens every single year since at least the early 80s: shows go into break or reruns after the February sweeps. Part is avoiding running against the NCAA tournament, but you generally don’t get new episodes until mid-April. ---

He does indeed dress like that and acts a little like that. He’s a comedy performer (I’ve seen him in an improv show) so it’s at least somewhat cultivated gimmick… bu I’m unsure how much is real.
