(After writing the OP, I checked my computer an hour later and the message was still in Preview Mode, and assumed I’d completely spaced on actually pressing the submit button. The symbol in my head is more like a cross between a pitchfork and a trident, actually, with the two side prongs slightly bent and jutting forward. Sort of shaped like a demon’s claw, jutting upward. As I said, I’ll do what I can to post a picture by tonight – that will aid matters, I’m sure. 🆒 ---

Not a video game but Magic the Gathering has started using a sort of trident logo. My first thought was the logo for [Trident Games](http://www.tridentgames.com/). But now that “side prongs curled forward like a claw” description _does_ sound familiar, I can’t place it though. ---

Never mind…I figured it out. You know how I said that two prongs were more crooked? And the Heretic logo was nearly perfect, except the prongs were upside-down? Well, I just figured out it’s not from a video game at all, it’s a heavy metal band logo. In fact…[it was Prong.](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Prong_16.01.2008_Orpheum_Graz-6.jpg) I’ll just go stick my head in a bucket of ice now. :smack:
