# Computer help - windows update error

When I click on Windows Update from IE6, the ‘checking availible updates’ popup comes up, followed by the following error:

Char 2  
‘Object doesn’t support this property or method Document.rookie’  
Error 0

On my other computer with identical software, windows update works. Any ideas?
