# Computer locks up after a fresh Windows install - suggestions?

This doesn’t seem to be the OP’s issue, but I get these symptoms if my Blackberry is plugged into my computer. It won’t boot until I hold the power button down long enough to force it to shut off, unplug the Blackberry, and then restart the computer. Once Windows is truly starting, I can plug the Blackberry back in.

I also had this same problem with the same solution with a keyboard going bad.
