My monitor is doing some strange flickering… everything is plugged in tight. It will flicker in dark blue hues, rapidly, the whole screen. Does anyone know what is going on? Can this be easily corrected? Or is it the computer itself? Any help is appreciated!!!

Does the monitor behave the same way when disconnected from the computer? Borrowing a monitor from somebody is the easiest thing to do for DIY diagnostics.
If a borrowed monitor does the same thing, try unseating and reseating the video card, if your PC has a separate video card.

Unless you have a background in TV or monitor repair, don’t go inside the box-voltages at or above 20kV are accessible, and contact will be at the very least, extremely painful.

Throw it away and buy a new one. It’s not worth the effort or money to fix when they are relatively cheap for a new one…
