My laptop has a pretty impressive screen resolution. 1600X1050, I think.

Occationally, though I want to sit down at a screen that is larger than this. I have a 24inch screen that 1920x1200 that works nicely with this laptop.

This is a nice set up, but I already have my eye on the big 30inch monitors.

To drive these larger monitors, you need the equivlent of 2 video cards, or a connector that is a “Dual Link DVI” connector. My lappy only has VGA.

I know that Apple makes thier laptops with DualLink DVI connectors, but I have been unable to confirm that any other manufacturers (Dell, toshiba, Lenovo) are doing the same.

Does anyone beside Apple make laptops with this capability?

Also, not looking for a PCExpress or PCMCIA or USB solution. Just looking for a laptop with the DualLink DVI feature (besides Apple).
