I dropped my P.C moving it. What a putz! Damage-Motherboard-which must have shorted and so killed the processor and memory. Took the chance to put some shiny bits in and now everything is just peachy ,it only took a week to get it all at the right price. I even installed Win98 2nd ed **but** by doing so I managed to lose all my favourites.I’ve got some back but one I really wanted was a site that gave links to useful referance info. So if anyone can help out it’d be much appreciated. . * * * Do not wait for the last judgement-It takes place every day _CAMUS-The Fall_ ---

If the mother\*board was damaged the hard disk should still be readable. In any case that is why you should make backups. Even though I have full backups, I keep an extra backup of the favorites folder on a floppy. So… make backups! Someday you’ll be glad you did ---

So get a free cookier manager from [download.com](http://download.com), it’ll find the old cookies with the sites on them. Pretty nifty,eh? Also, search your HD for a file: bookmark.\*
