Did anyone see this? I’m currently watching it… very odd.

To clarify: Conan’s sitting in his chair with dim lights in a t-shirt, Joel sitting next to him, and the cameramen the only ones laughing at his jokes. Huh. I wish I’d been able to see Letterman.

That would have been freaking awesome! The 10 minutes we did see were pretty neat, though.

I also wished they’d done the whole hour like that.

I liked the bit when Conan had Joel announce the guest list in his normal announcer voice: “Melanie Griffith from Broadway’s _Chicago_! …won’t be here tonight because the _elevators_ aren’t _working_!”

They should have taken two portable cameras and done their show from the streets.
