So, CONCACAF apparently is forming a national team league which will occupy the teams over international breaks. This is a disaster for the US, Mexico, and Costa Rica. Instead of testing themselves against top world teams they’re going to be forced to play CONCACAF minnows. Pure cash grab by the small Caribbean nations. Wasn’t much CONCACAF could do, after the UEFA League of Nations got set. Saves the US the humiliation of lining up Indonesia or Vanuatu for friendlies…
