Heading to Montreal in September and will be going to the Bell Centre… looks like the typical hockey arena concert venue, but wonder if anyone has any comments…

Also, can anyone recommend a hotel that isn’t in the $300-400 range? I am happy to take the Metro…

Not having been to the Bell Centre, can’t comment on that, but the Delta Montreal goes for $179 per night on weekends in September. To give you an idea of what’s available downtown in a range of prices, use this [site](http://rehelv-acrd.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/plans-maps-2-eng.aspx?p=0&c=2696). Just click on the blue hotel dot, and it’ll give you the current Canadian Government rate, but that should be quite near normal anyway.
