A nine year old girl is among the dead. I have a 9 year old girl and we live in Tucson. This hits a little too close to home for me. I can only hope she wasn’t a friend, classmate, or someone else we know. ---

Her husband is an astronaut and shuttle pilot, Mark Kelley. He has just landed in Tucson on a NASA jet. I guess that’s an employment benefit. ---
