Apparently speaking with the Congresswoman’s staff about the workload for the district. I think that’s a stretch but it gives them one more major thing to hang on him.
Sad coincidence, I just saw an item on MSN that said the little girl who died(she was nine) was born 9/11/2001. Born on the day of a mass murder, died in a mass murder.
Not that they really need it. Any one of the deaths is worth the gas chamber/lethal injection (the two methods practiced in AZ) in and of itself.

Six people qualifies as a “mass” murder? Really? What means “mass” – anything over one? 
On Fox news, I saw some reporter setting up a ladder in a neighbors yard to take video of the shooter and his parents backyard. The reported was saying that there was rumor of some kind of “shrine or alter” in the yard, but after videotaping bushes and an old pickup truck, with no signs of an alter or shrine, he said the alter was “gone”.
Surely this must be some kind of new low for journalism, but perhaps not for Fox.
He did hit a number of others. Sheer luck it wasn’t fatal.
He was trying to kill as many as possible before he went down.

It’s sort of morbidly interesting that the FBI requires four deaths to have an incident be called a “mass murder”, but only three (over a space of time) to be called “serial murder.” My wife tygre would have a field day with that…she did get an A in Serial Murder in college, as she often reminds me.

Gwenneth Paltrow is a cousin of Congresswoman Giffords. Sophia Green is the second cousin of the nine year old child killed in the shooting.
Hmm. Paltrow is pretty close- a first cousin once removed. I wonder if they knew each other.

I heard on the radio this morning that they didn’t.
I would think that Loughner would be a very high risk of suicide. Does anybody know what precautions other than the obvious (no shoelaces, no sharp objects, nothing that can be used to hang yourself) prisons take to prevent a suicide? Would he likely be handcuffed or anything like?
Yeah, I was wondering that myself.
