(I’d like to see her _try_ that). What, exactly, do they fear, I wonder? ---

It’ll be more than a few. Take a look at what Iraq and Afghanistan looked like after the US military worked them over for a bit. Even if only 10% of the military came down on the side of the secessionists, defeating them in battle would be an absolutely huge task, even if their defeat was a certainty. It’s been a long time since any American civilians saw how much damage even a small professional military force can do, up close and personal. ---

Earlier, Greene suggested that volunteers going door-to-door in the South to promote vaccination might not like the reception they get in a region where Second Amendment rights are valued. Bad enough, but not as far over the line as this: “Anyone who believes in the right to bear arms. To stand up against your government. I don’t know what you were saving that gun for then. I don’t know when you planned on using it if they were going to take control of your own body away." "It’s now. Now’s the time.” - Prominent antivaxer Del Bigtree (producer of the film “Vaxxed”) exhorting followers in 2016. He ultimately walked back his comments, but similar apocalyptic rhetoric persists among antivax “leaders”. ""We are in the last battle. This is the apocalypse. We are fighting for the salvation of humanity. We all knew this was coming at some point. I never believed it would come in my lifetime, but here it is… “We have to fight, and we have to die with our boots on if necessary.
