I think it would be a mistake for Democrats to expel Marjie. That makes her a persecuted victim. Instead, keep her on and make her the star of the “Republicans are crazy” show. If she’s stripped of committees, there’s very little harm she can do. If she’s expelled, her district will just send another nutbag. She’s not an attractive young woman, so she has no real political future in the Republican party. I say allow her to stay on and play with her own feces on TV. ---

I’ve been listening to the House Rules Committee debating her removal from the committees she’s on (Labor and Education). Of course Babin (TX, R) is bringing up Ihlan Omar. ---

Many people said at the time that that eased the way for others to follow suit. It was a bigger “betrayal” to the Trumpists, I’m sure. Though I’m also sure they will plan their revenge for all 10. I have to admit, Greene has me confused. Washington Post article says she was contrite in the meeting about certain things she’s spouted. But she tweets that she’ll never back down.
