I was wondering what prompted that, since I hadnā€™t heard of anything big happening in regards to NATO. Then I saw this in the article. > Greene on Tuesday proposed an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that would direct President Joe Biden to ā€œwithdraw the U.S. from NATO.ā€ Biden met with other world leaders at the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, on the same day, pledging that the U.S. would maintain its ā€œironclad commitmentā€ to the alliance. So itā€™s literally just whatever Biden does is bad and we need to do the opposite. Not prompted by anything but blind, childish pettiness. ---

Trump wanted out of NATO because he claimed that the US was doing an ā€œUNFAIRā€ amount of funding. Sheā€™s just thoughtlessly repeating what her personal savior has also said. Seriously, sheā€™s not very smart. ---

IMO if a treaty does not define the terms by which a country can withdraw from that treaty then the way out should be the same as the way inā€¦a 2/3 vote from the senate and the president wanting to end it. Just my $0.02ā€¦no one asked me. ---
