All the clips I’ve seen of hearings by this committee underline what a low-life MTG strives to be and that Comer is a seriously dim bulb. ---

that poor man was sooooo out of his depth. the republicans really have no idea of how to govern. “a what now”, was just the best and funniest bit. ---

MTG has the mental agility of a badly rusted slinky. She pulls on it thinking it’s going to make a neat snapping sound and bounce back. But all it does is break and then she blames everyone else because she broke her own toy. OTOH, kudos to Rep. Crockett for the alliteration! Probably not off the top of her head, but still very impressive to have that in your back pocket and have the presence of mind to be able to pull it out at the right time. ---

I’m guessing somewhere in between. I doubt that she had it going into this hearing, but there was a lot of back of forth after MTG made her insult before thing settled down and Crockett asked for her clarification, so she had a few minutes to decided on exactly what description she was going clarify when she got the chance. ---
