Goes right along with her threat to shut down any telecommunications companies that comply with the January 6 committee’s request for Republicans’ phone records. (I’d like to see her try that).
What, exactly, do they fear, I wonder?

Hey, it worked for the Brexit campaign.
It seems they want the government to seize the means of production. Alternatively, they are shit scared of their treason being exposed.
Uh, no. I’m not in favor of seeing this great nation which has lit the world for two centuries get dissolved piecemeal because a bunch of spoiled brats who didn’t get their way are holding their breath and turning blue. To hell with them. They don’t like the direction the country is going, they get a one way ticket to Germany or Rwanda or Whatthehellistan. But I would rather see the streets run red before so much as one suburb secedes from the Union.
As to the second highlight, yeah there is. It’s called a Slow Boat to China. And if they don’t want to leave, then start shooting them.
So, no to a divorce, but yes to a civil war, because that’s what it would take to put any significant number of them on a “slow boat to China”, or wherever. Do you think this wouldn’t also close down the shining light of the USA on the world stage?

In the words of Darth Cheney, you can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.
It’ll be more than a few. Take a look at what Iraq and Afghanistan looked like after the US military worked them over for a bit.
Even if only 10% of the military came down on the side of the secessionists, defeating them in battle would be an absolutely huge task, even if their defeat was a certainty. It’s been a long time since any American civilians saw how much damage even a small professional military force can do, up close and personal.
There was a time when that would have been a major concern of mine. That was before these inbred morons decided to commit treason and attempt to overthrow democracy.
The right-wingers point to Iraq as a success in building democracy in the Middle East. Maybe they should live there.
Sadly, yes. In both cases those arguing that voters should vote against their own interests, were aided by the xenophobia and/or racism of those voters.
It works. So it gets used.
Greene said that “Democrats, they hate our Second Amendment,” and claimed that Georgia lawmaker and voting rights activist Stacey Abrams wanted to “grab” people’s guns.
Ultimately, the truth is it’s our Second Amendment rights, our right to bear arms, that protects Americans and gives us the ability to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government. And I hate to use this language, but Democrats, they’re exactly…they’re doing exactly what our Founders talked about when they gave us the precious rights that we have.
Stevens said that she was "concerned about the mental health" of Greene after the congresswoman suggested using "Second Amendment rights" against Democrats.
Michigan Representative Haley Stevens says she is “concerned” about the mental state of her colleague, Marjorie Taylor Greene after the Georgia Republican suggested that “Second Amendment rights” should be used against Democrats, and called on Capitol Police to “address” the “dangerous threats.”
The Democratic representative made the plea Wednesday on Twitter, writing, “I am concerned about the mental health of my colleague from Georgia and would like @CapitolPolice to address her dangerous threats in my workplace. Just as we would in any school or job site, we cannot let calls for gun violence go unchecked.”
There goes another Democrat being all divisive. /s
Earlier, Greene suggested that volunteers going door-to-door in the South to promote vaccination might not like the reception they get in a region where Second Amendment rights are valued.
Bad enough, but not as far over the line as this:
“Anyone who believes in the right to bear arms. To stand up against your government. I don’t know what you were saving that gun for then. I don’t know when you planned on using it if they were going to take control of your own body away."
"It’s now. Now’s the time.”
""We are in the last battle. This is the apocalypse. We are fighting for the salvation of humanity. We all knew this was coming at some point. I never believed it would come in my lifetime, but here it is…
“We have to fight, and we have to die with our boots on if necessary. Everybody here, I’m confident, knows what their duty is and is going to do that duty, and I’m going to be beside you when you do it.”

So, I’m guessing shooting the anti-abortion picketers on your way into the clinic would be okay, then.
Oh, wait. That’d be a woman doing the shooting so, no.
People are notoriously poor at estimating risk (to self and/or others): a COVID vaccination vs. a gun in the house.
Hm.

Start coating bullets with vaccine. Problem solved.

There are days I wish they’d stop with the chest-pounding and just get on with it. For fuck’s sake, I’m not going to stop getting vaccinated during a pandemic, and I’m not going to stop telling others they should get vaccinated. So just bring it on already, or stop pretending. Either way, just stop yapping about it!
I swear, all these “Second Amendment Types” are just like that one punk at the bar who keeps telling his friends to “hold him back” so he doesn’t actually get into a fight after mouthing off to someone.

That’s taking “getting a shot” to an extreme.
“My new pistol is chambered in .45mRNA”
If you used .22mRNA, you’d fit more bullets in your gun. Remember, there’s a lot of them out there.
