# Conjoined Twins +1 (again)

Boy that’s sad. But those girls in the US who are conjoined in much the same way are very happy, very social, very well-adjusted kids. No, their lives aren’t going to be normal, but I think they can still attain some level of happiness. I sure hope so.

Poor kids, it’s also likely that they’ll have assoicated congenital defects that won’t crop-up until they’re older. And there’s also the added strain on the body from supporting two humans at once.
Sometimes life isn’t fair.☹

I saw a special that featured the girls who were mentioned by **Kalhoon**. I think they were 8 or so at the time of filming. They had to cooperate to do just about anything–walk, run, ride a bike, etc–because the girl on the left controlled the left arm and leg, and the girl on the right controlled the limbs on that side.
