**sk8rixtx** , I live in Manchester, as does **Nen** , who is **lilah’s** butthead husband and sugar daddy [sub]giggle[/sub]. There are a few other dopers in Connecticut, but I can’t remember who they are or which specific towns they have conquered. ---

Verily do I reprazent for the CT. I’m in Trumbull, though I don’t know if I can be said to have “conquered” it. If I did, it’s been in a hard-fought, 23-year war of attrition. ---

I live in Maryland now, but I was born and lived the first 19 years of my life in Higganum, CT. I still consider it home, as my parents and much of my extended family still live there, and our military lifstyle doesn’t lend itself to developing new roots. Now that we are back on the East Coast for the first time in 15 years, it’s only about a 6 hour drive up, and we try to make it as much as possible. Hmmm, maybe a Nutmegger Dopefest sometime in the near-to-middlin future? ---

Not Connecticut, but I used to live in Maine, which is fairly close. But I feel that I must point out that for most people in northern New England it is pronounce “Conn-att-icut.” ---

Born in Branford, lived in Montville, Danbury, Bethel, New Milford and Waterbury. Going home for a visit in October, really looking forward to hitting a few of the old trails (AT in New Milford, Mattatuck in Waterbury, Fort Shantock in Montville.)
