Consequences of not using iodized salt anymore

I wonder if chips and nuts are salted with iodized salt? Do fast food restaurants salt their fries and burgers that way?

That would be an effective way to ensure the public gets enough iodine.

I know I’ve seen “iodized salt” in ingredient lists. The PikNik sticks at hand are potatoes, oil and “sea salt.” Makes them so healthy.

After discovering tempura seaweed at my local Chinese supermarket, iodine deficiency is the least of my dietary worries…
