# "Conservative" Beliefs

Is money property? We’ve evolved past barter & bullion; money is a creation of the banking institutions & the state. If the state can write the law to give a private corporation the ability to _create money as it sees fit_ (which is exactly what the Federal Reserve does) then it can write law to let everyone generate money at a constant rate. Taxation then would exist to keep inflation from becoming annoying.
