I’ve made worse mistakes, ie: The Datsun was such a misery my wife still brings it up, though a mechanic last year thought I should still have it, with a Mazda Wankel put in it. No, that Borg Warner auto couldn’t take more than 96BHP. Grandpa Simpson enough? He makes shit up. Mine is all from a real, if crappy, life. But I never became a Randian. ---

Its basically required to have a persecution complex if you want to be a successful political movement. It seems to be a cross-cultural part of human nature that the underdog is always more sympathetic than the overlord. Also your troops fight their hardest if they think their backs are to the wall. You’ll fight much harder in an heroic effort against unbelievable odds to defeat the liberal menace that is just an election away from forcing your sons and daughters to be gay, then you will to carry on an easy saunter towards maintaining your position as head of the status quo. ---

OMFG, the Fort Hood shooter was a muslim? The media has tried so hard to hide this fact from me that I am only just now finding out. :rolleyes: Come on, we suspected he was a muslim extremist the second they mentioned his name. Religion is a powerful language and anyone that thinks they are doing something for GOD can walk deep into ends justifies the means territory without realizing how far off they’ve gone.
