“Jail cell”? That’s funny. Do some research outside of partisan sources before you draw conclusions like that. “Impeachment, removal” – sorry, no jail. Moreover, the POTUS’s power to conduct foreign policy is explicit and plenary – Article II.

Iran is an enemy of the US? How conveniently forgotten whenever Reagan isn’t in the picture.

OTOH, sorry, I get a bit overwrought over this stuff. I feel sorry for presidents that have to make these decisions, even Clinton during Rwanda. Many people cut him no slack for that one.

I do. Drop US troops into an ethnic bloodbath and hope for the best? After Somalia.
