Yeah, they, or at least the guy in charge, originally created CoH, then moved on and created CO. CoH was still using an older version of the Cryptic Engine when it went down.

I’m fine with the Hijack. If I could still play CoH I wouldn’t need to find a new game 
I recall occasionally seeing people pull stuff like that off in CoH. They’d take advantage of the fact that the font for character names in CoH was identical for certain characters, like 1 and a lower case l IIRC. So you have multiple characters that have technically different names, but no one playing the game can tell thanks to the font. I recall running across a small group of Thug Masterminds all named Evil Clone once.
And yes, I still miss CoH a lot.
