Excerpt below is from the online _Merriam-Webster_, and we all know if it’s in there, it has to be commonly used! Sure enough, wring. _Apparently_, my use of the word “apparently” negates the rest of the posting in your reading of it. I believe that’s a mistake, a fuck up if you will, not on my part. 😉 Oh, and Wisest. Watchya doin’ casting words such as “gentlemen, gentlemen” around in The Pit? I tell you, I think many of us may have picked up some habits from the temp board. Place just ain’t the same. ---

**you’re** calling my reading comprehension into question? the quote was (there for all to see) “Apparently you hold these conspiracy theories”. and, I interpret it to mean that you believe that the listed theories qualify as being ‘conspiracy theories’. If that’s incorrect, then the fault lies with your wording, not my reading. If you’ll be so kind as to scan back, my first attempt in this thread was polite. For that, I got a snippy ‘read what I posted’ and a quote of the OP. So, I quoted again what you posted, and here you again are claiming that the problem lies with me, not w/your lack of clarity. I’ve been here a while (tho’ not as long as you). I’m generally polite, even in the pit. I don’t recall thinking you were such a fuckin’ jerk before, glad you’ve made it clear to me now. ---

Spoken English is tough enough but written English for a non-native speaker is exceptionally difficult. If Monty has a command of another language equal to or better than Estilicon has of English then I will retract my statement but if not then I say he should cut the criticism. ---

Monty of course I am if nothing else latin’s are friendly people (that is a generalazation you should meet my mother) I have a lot of respect for sailors. I know that I would be terrified in the middle of the sea, in the middle of a storm. Changing the subject I checked and afficionado is not correct. In fact double f is never used in spanish. Of course that is according to the Royal academy of the castellano language, poets, writers and the common people in general do not recognize it’s jurisdiction. ---
