I post on a couple of boards where disappearing a post has the same effect as “nm” does on this board. I so rarely disappear a post on any board that I forgot that “nm” was the practice, here. There was nothing insulting or provocative in what I posted and removed. It was a continuation of the discussion in progress and when I was scrolling back through the thread to verify a statement, I saw the Mod instruction to abstain from any further remarks, went back and deleted the post. It has been observed that my deletion occurred after 11 minutes instead of 5. This could be true. I do not notice time passing when I am reading or posting and I might have missed the 5 minute window. ---
