My husband spent 20 years in the Army, a portion of which he was a recruiter. My father retired after 20 years in the Air Force. And my grandfather…nevermind.
You haven’t really accepted anything I’ve said about the engineering stuff. So my 2 cents’ worth about Reservists being activated repeatedly, or even how military units are renumbered so they can be deployed more often is useless information. And family members having to apply for food stamps is irrelevant.
My favorite lie is “but the military moves you for free!”
I think a fun October Surprise would be for a photo opportunity to go down, and the “wall” tips over and squashes Pence, McConnell, and the America-hating fuckstick like the verminous bugs they are.
That right there is about 50% of the reason that I think the project will be delivered on time. The other 50% is that it seems pretty feasible to do so.
It is irrelevant, because it has literally nothing to do with what we were talking about. It’s the dictionary definition of irrelevant.
I have a much longer record than you in saying that the wall is a completely useless vanity project that is inspired by naked racism, and also that it ought to be illegal to steal military funds to build it. That doesn’t mean, however, that it’s impossible to replace 50-something miles of fence and add some little stumps in the ground known as “vehicle barriers” over course of the next 16 months because “hydrology” or “permits” or whatever nonsense you’re arguing.
