Hey all,

Is there a (hopefully free) program that allows you to control volume by application? For example, is there a way to mute my web browser (stupid flash games) while leaving my music playing?

Bonus points if it allows my to mute different hardware devices. I.E. keep my laptop speakers muted while allowing sound out of the headphone jack.

Thanks

This isn’t exactly what you’re looking for and it’s a pain if you have to do it frequently but you can turn off sound on web pages by going to Tools/InternetOptions/Advanced/Multimedia and uncheck “play sounds in web pages”.

Thanks. That will probably work, even if it’s not an ideal solution.
