The officer told him there would be consequences if he continued to talk. That’s a textbook first amendment violation, right? Being arrested for speech? They should have shot him. I mean he probably did not obey a legal order so he is a criminal. Right, Smapti? This was OK for a 10 year, why not this 8 year old? ---

Next we’ll be applying “the customer is always right” to police stops. ---

Is there a hard age limit as to when it is or isn’t acceptable to handcuff someone who’s being physically violent and disobedient? What is it? 13? 16? 30? I suppose the officer should have just stood there and waited until the little ball of rage was all punched out, right? I mean, heaven forbid that an adult _ever_ assume a position of authority over a child, let alone _discipline_ them for their actions. That might make the kid _cry_. ---
