They also shoot four year old children when they are trying to shoot the dogs of people who made the mistake of calling 911 for help. Has the Matthew Ajibade case been discussed here yet? There’s video in [this link](http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/13/1431428/-Bloody-strapped-to-chair-video-shows-police-tasering-Matthew-Ajibade-in-the-testicles-before-death); I haven’t watched it yet (not sure if I want to, considering how it’s described). In short, according to the link, a young black man was tortured to death in Savannah Georgia while in police custody. ---

The thread is really crowded with so many cases of brutality, murder and shootings, it would be easy for any one to slide off the radar. It’s the old problem. One dead unarmed person is a tragedy, but 10,000 is just business as usual. People stop caring when it becomes an onslaught of stories. ---

And this thread is just US cases. If you included the ones from Mexico, China, Iran and Russia, there would be such a mass wall of cases and horror, most people will turn on the X-Box or the TV. It becomes too much to handle. ---

Unfortunately, because of my daughter I know every cop in my town, and several state police officers. There are only 2 local cops, and 1 state trooper (of those I know) who I would trust. It’s really sad. One local officer in particular tried everything possible to help my daughter, including stopping by every morning before school, to make sure she was going to school. He is a peach. I wish we had more like him.
