You do remember, don’t you, that you haven’t given us anything to support your assertion of riot and looting. With all due awe, that soup is kinda thin.

And this:

> [@](#):
>
> Are you saying that the violent protesters are not protesters? Well, shoot, then the cops that unlawfully kill blacks are not really cops. We can all go home now.

What is this even about? In what way do you imagine this is a response?

Followed by this cloudy gem of obfuscation:

> [@](#):
>
> What were you protesting that you thought you would get caught up in a riot?

Huh?

Shit, no kidding! I was here in Minneapolis the night the Twins won the Series, and it was vandals and mayhem! I heard car horns honking at _one o’clock in the morning_! These people are savages, I’m telling you!

>

> Both officers are on trial for murder.

I understand that the police are cowardly and trained to empty their magazines into the suspects if there’s a 0.01% chance they’ll be attacked and sprain a hangnail or something.

But in this incident as in so many others, the cops go on to demonstrate their utter contempt for human life:

> [@](#):
>
> The suit also says the officers involved in the shooting did nothing to stop the boy’s bleeding or alleviate his suffering, even after one of them found a pulse on the child.
>
> “Sadly, Jeremy was left to suffer – and die – while the officers casually searched for gloves,” the suit adds.

Wait, are you saying that BLM marches don’t devolve into protests? Ever?!?!?

Or are you asking if there is any proof that they are worse than anyone else

Berkeley '68 was the first, there were others. You may never actually know, I’ve gone to considerable lengths to confuse my future biographers.

Was that a bar? Underage, and scorned alcohol.

Sold Berkeley Barb on Telegraph, first exposure to personals coding “BiWF, LSMFT with AC/DC/DUI…” Didn’t understand a word of it. If I had a dollar for every asshole who tried to get me to sell them something…

Ah, '68. Things could have been really cool if they weren’t so fucking awful.

Sometimes BLM holds marches. Sometimes the marches become protests. Sometimes certain individuals at those protests get violent. Therefore all BLM is bad.

You do comprehend the stupidity of this argument, right?

How about the [Civil Rights movement of the 60s](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urban_riots#1960s)? Numerous marches and protests were marred by rioting/violence in various instances. Somehow it didn’t greatly harm the movement.

Seriously? That question reveals a very deep ignorance of history. For example, the labor movement for decades was a literal street war between workers and private armies. The little armories at the heart of many small towns were built to aid suppression of organized labor. That five-day, 40-hour work week was secured in part through protests that routinely became violent.

College sports? Seems like every time I turn around some college is rioting and looting because they either did, or did not win the big game.

I can’t believe that there are people today subscribing to the idea that violence borne of desperation or violence adjacent to legitimate protest somehow supports the conclusion that there are no legitimate grievances involved and that the legitimate response is further suppression.

Several months ago, there was a BLM protest in the small town where I live. A police officer I know, in a different small town about an hour from here, posted pictures of the wanton property destruction that resulted. Problem is, the property destruction didn’t happen. The pics she posted were from SC, from the aftermath of the Dylann Roof shooting. Police who were actually present said there was no destruction or violence- the worst thing was a few minutes when traffic snarled a bit, but that got handled calmly. when this was pointed out, she got very huffy and said she didn’t care where or when those pictures were taken, peaceful protesters need to get the violent ones under control.

No mention on her part if the good cops had the same obligation to get bad cops under control.

Yes, because my accusing BLM marches of devolving into violent riots and looting is EXACTLY like accusing Shirley Temple of being Hitler. :smack:

Yes. Yes I do. I have proof that most other movements have ZERO rioting and looting to their name while BLM has a number higher than zero. Once again, you have been foiled by math.

Please cite where I say that the legitimate response is further suppression?

Barring that please enjoy this large plate of STFU.
